X7 start up calibration error

ISSUE: When starting the X7 the unit will run a self calibration test. At start up if there is an error during this start up calibration you will get an error report and you will not be able to scan anything.

SOLUTION: One solution to this error is to simply clean the protective lens cover for the internal mirrors. If this lens is dirty the unit will not be able to self calibrate correctly and it can also creates issues with your scan data if it does calibrate but still has particles on it.

RECOMMENDATION: To clean the lens be sure to use a Micorfiber type cloth only. Be sure not to use any cloth that might scratch the lens when you clean it including paper towels. Do not use any cleaning solutions or other liquids to clean the lens. You can use a compressed air can that are commonly used with electronics.
