Richard is the President and CEO of BuildingPoint Midwest and Gulf Coast. He has a B.S. in accounting from Illinois State University and has his CPA certification. Richard resides in Woodridge, IL with his wife. His two grown children, Kate and Ryan, work for his businesses. For leisure, Richard loves to play golf, travel with his wife, and watch the White Sox play.
Since 2003, Richard has managed the operations and profitability of both Precision Midwest and BuildingPoint Midwest.
Nicholas DiBitetto
Chief Executive Officer
Nick is the CEO of BuildingPoint Midwest and Gulf Coast and is originally from Yorkville, IL. After receiving his Bachelor’s degree from Western Illinois University, he spent many years in Indiana as an Executive Salesman.
Outside of work, Nick spends time with his wife Stacey and four children, Majerle, Mykkel, Isabella & Gianni. He also plays a very active role in the Plainfield community where he has resided with his family since 2010. For leisure, Nick enjoys going to sporting events and traveling.
Since 1998, Nick has put in hard work at BuildingPoint. As general manager, he oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, annual budgets, yearly forecasts and has direct oversight into the acquisition of talent.
Ryan Fisher
Chief Revenue Officer / Co-Owner
Ryan is a proud co-owner, and Chief Revnue Officer at BuildingPoint. His unwavering commitment to excellence has made BuildingPoint the preferred partner for contractors looking to enhance productivity, efficiency, and accuracy in the construction industry.
Graduating from the University of Iowa in 2009 with a focus on mathematics and business, Ryan now leads several teams that drive productivity through advanced positioning and reality capture solutions, innovative autonomous layout technology, cutting-edge visual site projection systems and comprehensive construction management software (ERP, project controls, modeling/design and estimating) for construction companies of all sizes.
Outside of work, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife Veronica and their two sons.
Kate Ruyter
Chief Financial Officer / Co-Owner
Kate has been with BuildingPoint Midwest and Gulf Coast since 2006. Originally from Bolingbrook, IL she has her bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from Loyola University in Chicago and is also a Certified Public Accountant.
When she’s away from work she loves spending time with her family, especially her young daughter Audrey. She is also an independent designer for Keep Collective jewelry and loves helping people express themselves and tell their stories through jewelry.
Todd Ellsworth
Director of Professional Services
Todd is the Director of Professional Services for BuildingPoint Midwest and BuildingPoint Gulf Coast. He grew up in Tulsa, OK and studied construction management at Oklahoma State University. For fun, Todd bikes around his hometown of New Orleans to explore the area. He also stays involved in community activities and likes to volunteer at a concert series close to his home.
Since 2013, Todd has overseen BuildingPoint’s virtual design and construction process services. He also supports clients through process discovery and works on the training and implementation support on VDC.
Steven Jack
Director of Customer Success
Steven Jack is the Director of Customer Success at BuildingPoint Midwest and Gulf Coast.
Steven heads our marketing, business development and customer success efforts and has over 20 years of experience in marketing, design and content creation.
A graduate of Illinois State University, Steven lives in Naperville, IL with his wife and their two children. When he’s not at work, Steven is busy volunteering in his community and restoring the family's 100-year-old home.
Mike Pieczynski, CPA
Director of Business Development
Mike is the founder and previous owner of OnPoint Consulting, which was acquired by BuildingPoint Midwest in 2025. Mike works closely with the Business Development team, consultants and Client Care on ongoing projects. Additionally, Mike works with all aspects of software publisher relationships as part of our “Trusted Advisor” initiatives for clients and prospects.
After an 18-year relationship as a key contractor to Sage Timberline Professional Services Group, Mike and his team felt there needed to be more focus on helping construction and service companies manage profits and grow with their construction software. Mike left the longtime relationship with Timberline Corporate to be available directly to end users, Timberline dealers, and other consultants. A few years later Mike and his team began looking for next-generation software, eventually starting a relationship with Dexter + Chaney (now Viewpoint). In 2014, Mike started working with Spectrum, becoming certified in 2015.
Mike has served as a CFO at a construction company in Missouri, and before that as the administrative partner of Renshaw and Pieczynski, CPA’s, focusing in the construction industry.
Ryan Covington
Sales Manager, Field Technology Group
Ryan is the Sales Manager of the Field Technology team. Since coming on board in 2025, Ryan draws on his experience in sales roles he has held over the last decade to lead the Field Technology team to accelerate the growth of BuildingPoint and help our partners build quicker, smarter, and more accurately with the latest technology from Trimble.
A native of Ottawa, IL, Ryan went to college at Bradley University and graduated with a bachelor's degree in business. When he's not working, Ryan enjoys spending time with his wife and their dog and cat. As a passionate traveler and outdoor enthusiast, he enjoys exploring new places and hiking with his wife. On the weekends you can likely find him engaged with cars either working under the hood, going for a fun drive, or speeding around a racetrack.
Nick Dionne
Northern Illinois/Iowa Field Technology Account Executive
Nick is the Field Technology Account Executive of the Northern Illinois region for BuildingPoint. He grew up in Downers Grove, IL and received his Bachelor’s degree from the University of Iowa in 2008. In his downtime, Nick enjoys hiking, camping, and going to Cubs games. He also takes a yearly canoe trip between the border of Minnesota and Canada where he treks through the woods for a week.
Since 2015, Nick has handled sales and the training and support of BuildingPoint hardware solutions in the Northern Illinois region.
John Lyne
Michigan, Northern Indiana Field Technology Account Executive
John is the Field Technology Account Executive in the Michigan/Northern Indiana area for BuildingPoint Midwest. He received both his Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Northern Illinois University. John has enjoyed coaching hockey for a number of years. In his free time, he likes to golf and goes to the beach. He currently lives in Grand Rapids, MI doing great work for BuildingPoint Midwest.
Since 2014, John has focused on field technology solutions for BuildingPoint Midwest. In this field, he deals with sales, support, and training.
Ryan Hall
Indiana, Southern Illinois Field Technology Account Manager
Ryan is the Field Technology Account Manager from Avon, IN. He attended IUPUI and is OSHA certified. Outside of his work with BuildingPoint Midwest, Ryan spends time with his wife and three children. He is also involved as a coach and board member of his local youth soccer league. Ryan loves to golf and hits the green every chance he gets.
Since 2017, Ryan has helped BuildingPoint develop relationships in the construction technology field around the Indiana area. His prompt and honest solutions have been the key to his success.
Leighton Kellett
Alabama, Louisiana, Mississippi Field Technology Account Executive
Leighton is a Field Technology Account Executive from Mobile, AL. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in building construction at Auburn University. Leighton spends a lot of his downtime hunting with his wife. He also dedicates a lot of his time to the church where his wife works as the children’s minister.
Since 2015, Leighton has helped provide solutions on behalf of BuildingPoint Gulf Coast. He helps contractors implement streamline field processes to provide solutions for areas needing more efficiency.
Derek Polkowski
Account Executive, Wisconsin
Derek Polkowski joined BuildingPoint Midwest & Gulf Coast in 2019 and works as our Account Executive in Wisconsin.
Derek hails from Rockford, IL, and is a graduate with a Bachelor’s Degree in Management from the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh. While in college, Derek played football for the Titans.
When he’s not at work Derek likes to work out and attend sporting events.
Josh is a Junior Account Manager in the Gulf Coast branch of BuildingPoint. He strives to do things to the best of his ability.
In his downtime, Josh enjoys spending time with his wife and at church, as well as playing video games.
Josh is also an accomplished photographer, videographer and enjoys other creative pursuits in his free time.
Ben Brookman
Account Executive/Construction Robotics Lead
Ben Brookman is originally from the St Louis area and relocated to Western IL in 2009. He has 20+ years of land surveying and engineering design experience and originally came to BuildingPoint from our previously held sister company Precision Midwest.
He enjoys his wife’s cooking, his oldest son playing music and coaching his youngest son’s baseball team. On the weekends he can be found at home drinking his homebrew while watching St. Louis Cardinal baseball.
Reed Emerson
Software Account Executive
Reed Emerson brings over five years of sales and consulting experience within the construction industry, where he has developed a deep understanding of client needs and market dynamics. His passion for building lasting relationships with customers is complemented by his ability to deliver tailored solutions that align with their goals and business processes.
Outside of his professional life, Reed has a wonderful family including his wife Ashley, son Walker, and soon to be baby girl. Reed is an avid outdoors enthusiast who enjoys fishing, golfing, and spending quality time with family and friends. He values creating memorable experiences with those closest to him in his life.
Luke Zandstra
Customer Care Manager
Luke Zandstra has six years of experience in the construction services industry — with three years in sales and three years as an electrician. In sales, Luke focused on building strong customer relationships and providing tailored solutions. As an electrician, Luke continued to prioritize customer satisfaction and quality service. He is passionate about connecting with people and always seeks opportunities to learn and grow.
Outside of work, Luke enjoys running, fishing, and hunting. In July 2024, he completed an Ironman 70.3, a major personal achievement. Luke is also dedicated to helping young adults at church. At home, he is happily married to his wife, Kayla, and they are excited to welcome their first child in 2025.
Nick Rickert
Software Consultant
As former Vice President of Accounting for a Chicago-based construction group of four entities, Nick managed financial operations across all phases of project delivery. With hands-on knowledge of field operations and
back-office systems, Nick helps clients strengthen financial performance, control costs, and increase project profitability.
Before entering the construction industry, Nick served five years in the United States Marine Corps as part of a Marine Mobile Air Traffic Control team, including two tours in Afghanistan. He applies the same focus, discipline, and commitment to excellence to his professional work today.
Zach Clancy
Northern Illinois/Iowa Account Manager
Zach first joined BuildingPoint Midwest & Gulf Coast in 2017 in our Service Department.
After working as a Field Support Engineer for several years, Zach is now an Account Manager for our Nothern Illinois and Iowa territories.
When he’s not at work, Zach can be found out camping or riding his motorcycle with his wife. Zach also volunteers as a wrestling coach in his free time.
Jill Husick
Senior Renewal Specialist
Jill Husick heads our Renewal team as part of our Customer Success Division. She joined BuildingPoint in 2018.
Jill has two son, Ike and Abe, and one sweet pup. When she’s not at work Jill loves to craft, paint, sew and travel.
She and her family have lived in Chicago, North Carolina, Washington DC, and now back to sweet home Illinois.
Brandon Knapp
Renewal Specialist
Brandon Knapp is a recent graduate of Augustana College and joined the BuildingPoint team in the summer of 2022 as a Renewal Specialist in our Customer Success Division. His hometown is Batavia, IL.
When he’s not at work, Brandon enjoys spending time with his friends and family. He also enjoys working out and trying new local restaurants. Brandon is also an avid soccer player and plays in leagues once or twice a week.
Kimberly Wills
Support Service Consultant
Kimberly has over 20 years' experience as a manager in the construction industry specializing in accounting, payroll, unions, human resources, and compliance for low voltage and mechanical companies utilizing several ERP systems throughout the years. Kimberly was a member of the implementation team for the last mechanical company she worked with for their Spectrum Implementation.
Kimberly and her husband live in Morris, IL. They have two grown children, Brianne and Brett.
Kody Burns
Field Service Manager
Originally from Joliet, IL, Kody joined BuildingPoint Midwest and Gulf Coast in 2018 as an Apprentice Field Technician and today is a Field Service Manager.
Kody grew up in Joliet and moved to Las Vegas for a few years, but recently moved back with his family to be closer to family and friends.
When he’s not at work, Kody enjoys spending time playing with his daughter and son and relaxing.
Jonathan Young
Project Engineer
Jonathan is a project engineer for BuildingPoint Midwest and Gulf Coast. Originally from the Chicagoland area, he graduated from Southern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering. He also received a Bachelor’s in architectural studies from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
In his downtime, Jonathan is either honing his rock climbing abilities or relaxing and drinking craft beer.
Since 2018, he has managed a team of virtual design modelers to compile a virtual replication of each of the trades for constructing buildings.
Joe Majewski
Field Support Engineer
Joe Majewski is a member of our Field Support team and conducts customer trainings and handles many of our support calls.
Joe is a native of Oswego, IL and in his free time enjoys riding his motorcycle and hanging out with friends.
He is a graduate of Oswego High School.

Tim Wallace is a member of our Field Support team and conducts customer trainings and handles many of our support calls.

Julian Ramirez is a Trimble Certified Service Technician from Plano, IL, where he graduated from Plano High School. With a strong technical background and a hands-on approach to problem-solving, Julian brings precision and dedication to every project he undertakes.
Outside of his professional work, Julian is an automotive enthusiast who enjoys working on cars in his free time. His passion for motorsports often takes him to the race track, where he not only watches but occasionally competes. Music is another creative outlet for Julian—while he primarily enjoys listening, he also explores music production on rare occasions.
Amanda Lindgren
Marketing Manager
Amanda Lindgren is a recent graduate of the University of Iowa and BuildingPoint Midwest & Gulf Coast’s Marketing Associate. Amanda is a native of Orland Park, IL and has one dog named Rocco. When she’s not at work, Amanda enjoys spending time with friends, going to the beach, and cooking.
Lucas Diverdi
Field Support Engineer
Lucas Diverdi joins BuildingPoint as a Field Support Engineer and has several years of experience in the construction field from surface prep and coatings to framing, demolition, and site support. This experience helps him translate field realities into practical, client-focused solutions.
Outside of work, Lucas was selected to compete in Shaquille O’Neal’s business pitch competition for Campus in New York City, where his presented his venture to a panel of CEOs, including leaders from American Express and WeightWatchers. He also enjoys video games , and I serve on Delta Chi’s Alumni Board of Trustees (ABT) at Northern Illinois University, supporting chapter governance and mentorship.
Daniel Warren
Accubid Anywhere Specialist
Daniel Warren is the Accubid Anywhere Specialist at BuildingPoint. Since joining the electrical industry in 2021, he has focused on estimation and database customization. Daniel specializes in building assemblies that improve the accuracy and efficiency of takeoffs, helping contractors get the most out of Accubid Anywhere.
Though he considers himself an avid indoorsman, Daniel has enjoyed adventures to Italy and Ireland, where he loves exploring new cultures and gathering inspiration for his next journey. When he’s not traveling, he spends his time reading and gaming with friends.
Brianna Wilmsen
Accounting Assistant
Brianna joined BuildingPoint Midwest and Gulf Coast in 2025 as our accounting assistant. She works closely with our CFO Kate Ruyter managing our AR and AP accounts. Brianna has several years of experience in Accounting and the building trades. She is a graduate of Joliet Junior College.
In her free time, Brianna likes to spend time outdoors with her two young children.
Rebecca Zeman
Customer Success Leader
Rebecca Zeman is the Customer Success Leader at BuildingPoint, overseeing the Customer Success Managers, Trainers & Support Team Members.
A University of Iowa graduate, she speaks Italian and has lived abroad, bringing a global perspective to both her work and community. She lives in the Chicago suburbs with her daughter and dog and stays active locally as a PTA volunteer, HOA board member, assistant cheerleading coach, and assistant Girl Scout leader.
Outside of work, Rebecca leads an active lifestyle, enjoying a variety of sports and yoga. In her free time, she also enjoys arts and crafts and traveling.
